Just as children learn through social interactions with each other, we adults do also.
This week I was reminded how important it is for us to kindle relationships with people who inspire and challenge our thinking. I visited a pre-kindergarten school where the thoughts and actions of educators are inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach. It is a place I have visited many times and the collaboration among the educators always deepens my own thinking.
While quiet, reflective time alone is important and often helps me reach new understandings, experiencing an atmosphere of inspired, critical thinkers fuels my own wonderings and rekindles my strength and passion for giving children the beauty and respect they deserve.
This video is one that was shared during this collaborative day. I hope it moves your thoughts in new directions!
